Hello! My name is Emma, and I teach English.
My goal is to help you learn English, at your own pace, in your own way.
Personalized online lessons, one-to-one
Every person is different, and learns differently. My lesson plans are tailored for you, the individual student, based on your level and language goals. I offer both Everyday English and Business English, for CEFR levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1.
Relevant, engaging materials. I use a wide range of sources as instructional tools, including videos, news articles, podcasts, music, and TED Talks. Experience how English is used in real world, and explore the language through topics specific to your own interests.
Your life, your English. Lessons can focus on conversation, grammar, or a mix of both — it’s your choice! Our lessons are safe spaces for you to express yourself fully and confidently. I also prepare students for exams such as TOEIC and Pipplet.
Advance your career. For Business English, I will lead you through role plays to prepare you for job interviews and meetings, equipping you with the formal phrases and vocabulary you need in a professional context.
Learn anytime, from anywhere. I am based in Paris, but teach students from all across France. You just need a laptop and WiFi (and your beverage of choice!).
Affordable and flexible. One-hour webcam lessons start at 35 euros, and I don’t lock you in to any schedule or package.
Nice to meet you!

I’m a native English speaker who was born in Australia, a beautiful country that’s a melting pot of different cultures. From a young age, I’ve loved exploring the world and meeting people from all walks of life. This passion led me to become a cabin crew member for Emirates Airlines, during which I visited more than 50 countries, working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
My lifelong love for French history and culture led me to Paris, the city I’m proud to call home. In my spare time, you’ll find me reading a book, or enjoying local wines with friends at a favourite cafe or bar à vin.
